You are absolutely right... Sometimes when i fly the Cloud9 Phantom, I always fly in VC. It really depends what aircraft your flying I guess.

Yeah! a good designed VC and the right Eyepoint and of course functionality of the VC create a great feeling. I hate to switch between VC and 2D, thats why I only fly aircraft, which are fully functional out of the VC.

Hi Hajo,

Yes we use IBnet in combination with VATSIM, works perfect!!
The only thing is that the mulitplayer range is about 11 NM. Beyond that you won't see the players who are connected to IBnet. But you can see everyone else who's flying on VATSIM.
Also the radar is not working properly when connected to IBnet.

vRNLAF is not using it officially right now but we are testing it. It doesn't really border me the fact that the radar is not working (for now). A good stable connection and be able to fly formations the way it should be is much more important for me....

Give it a try, you will be surprised

We have to see, for the vUSAF (and my squadron, the 106th RW) the most important field of use would be Air-to-Air-refueling.
