Great movie, thanks for sharing! Well, is there a reason why you haven't switched to TrackIR yet? If I would fly formation as you do, i would certainly use it

Hi Alexander,

Never tried it but the main reason is that i fly in 2D cockpit 95% of the time (3D cockpit is not that functional). I only switch to 3D cockpit when approaching the tanker for refueling, otherwise you loose your reference at a certain point. But yes, when you fly 99% of the time in 3D I would have a TrackIR for sure!

Great video! Is that "only" peer-to-peer-connection or are you using something else?

We using IBnet now in combination with FSINN to have also a VATSIM connection. Works beautiful. No more lag, very smooth! Formation flying is FUN again...

Sounds logical. For some reason i assumed, that all you "Airforce Guys" (

) are using the 3d panel

I only fly out of the VC. gives more a feeling of flying, giving you the chance to look around and feel the aircraft a bit instead of sitting infront of a wallpaper with instrumenst.
