Hiya, Just some shots of vRNLAF Air refuelling the other day. Especially the first one I am really proud of. Flying exactly in the right position to connect with the boom. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Just wanted to share these with you guys! Emiel "DIANA"

Excellent! Are you using a different or new KC-10? I never saw the refueling probe extended that far before. Have you tried the program I mentioned in the first post? I´m pretty happy with it and definetly want to hook up on one of the vRNLAF tankers in the next time. Is anyone of you guys active on the weekend of may 25-27? HAJO |

Hello HAJO, I think Marcel has been tweaking multiple aircraft into one. I heard him saying something about a Hawai package (boom) and the SGA package for the aircraft itself. Indeed, the boom is a little bit out of proportion, I would say. Oh and bear in mind that the pictures are taken from the tankers perspective. He can see the boom, but the 'chicks' refuelling can't actually see the boom. The last picture is what I can see from the cockpit, no boom unfortunately. Marcel guided me into the right position by giving radio instructions. I have not taken a look at the program yet.

HAJO, Any change you can explain shortly what the program does and how it works? It's really only relevant to us if the tanker pilot can change the fuelstate of the receiving aircraft. If it doens't work like this, we have already a better alternative...

Well, you start the program and fill in the tanker´s callsign (which could be also a Lufthansa if you´re that desperate ). As soon as you come close to the tanker the program will start to refuel the receiver. Unfortunately there is no direct interaction between tanker and receiver concerning the fuel flow or it´s quantity. I recall that vUSAF plans to use it in the following way: As soon as the receiver is "connected" (program is onloading fuel) the pilot will give a call to the tanker who presses the "Dump Fuel"-button of the program and so will offload fuel at nearly the same time with the same rate of flow. It´s not that perfect because this method means that the receiver is setting the parameters for the AAR and not the tanker, so I´m afraid that you won´t like it too much. But I´m curious what the dutch alternative looks like... ![]() HAJO |

| Hi H, Our Tanker pilots use this program I think. It's also a stand alone, but it subtracts any offloaded fuel from the tankers total amount of fuel I believe. From the receivers point of view, well, there is a little secret button hidden in the panel. If you press that, your fuelstate goes up by 3000lbs I thought it was. That's why we usually aks for 3000lbs. http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php...96780&Cookie=1

Wie Tanker not found? was benutzt du als AI Tanker?
