Cross The Pond (CTP) is a bi-annual event which takes place on the VATSIM Virtual Air Traffic Network. It involves a large number of aircraft flying between the UK and North America.

This year the Westbound event is taking place on Saturday 22nd March 2008. There are departures planned from three airports in the UK, with arrivals into three US airports and one Canadian airport:

Departure Airfields

1. London Heathrow - (EGLL/LHR)
2. Manchester International - (EGCC/MAN)
3. Glasgow International - (EGPF/GLA)

Arrivals

1. Montreal Dorval International - (CYUL/YUL)
2. Newark Liberty International - (KEWR/EWR)
3. Washington Dulles International - (KIAD/IAD)
4. Boston Logan International - (KBOS/BOS)

You can expect full ATC coverage for the duration of your flight, which can be booked via the Pilot's section of our website.

Die Heathrowflüge sind schon alle weg. Darf ich dann trotzdem ohne Booking fliegen?

Ungebuchte Flüge werden dann also wohl wie ein verpasster Slot behandelt.

Starten wirst du sicherlich dürfen, aber ich könnte mir denken, dass deine Priorität als Outbound doch leicht nach hinten geschoben werden könnte.

Wähle doch einfach einen Flug von Manchester und beim funken sagst einfach "Heathrow Delivery, guuuude, ..."
