[We, 02.01.2008 / UK] Solent re-lunch event

The 'Solent' is the area on the central southerly coast of the U.K. It is a
popular place for VFR and also includes two major fields for IFR these being
Southampton (EGHI) and Bournemouth (EGHH). A few years ago we had an event
called Solent Wednesdays and for various different reasons it had to be
stopped. In the New Year we will be re-launching this event and it will be
held every week at Solent. It is to be called Solent Wednesdays. To
celebrate the re-launch of this fantastic weekly event we will be holding a
separate 'Celebratory' event. This event will be held on Wednesday the 2nd
of January 2007, after which we will be holding this event on a weekly
basis.

Date and Time: Wednesday 2nd of January 2008, between the hours of
1800z-2200z

Starting in the new year we see the re-launch of the ever popular weekly
event: - Solent Wednesdays. The Solent is an area on the South coast of the
UK made up of two airfields, Southampton (EGHI) and Bournemouth (EGHH). Both
these airfields are known for IFR short and medium haul flights as well as
many VFR sightseeing flights. To celebrate this re-launch, we see some of
the best controllers from the South East Regional Training Scheme
controlling for the first event to be held on Wednesday the 2nd of January
2008. Supporting Solent Wednesday we have a variety of well know virtual
airlines and VACC's.
