Hi Ben!
Just landed after my first FSInn long-haul flight. Look here:
Aircraft: Ready for Pushback B742 (V.1), upgraded with
- CIVA INS
- ILH TCAS
Origin: KORD (SimFlyers Scenery)
Destination: EDDF (German Airports 2 Scenery)
That's a lot of load for my poor system: [

]
PIII, 800MHz, 512 MByte, Matrox G400 (32MByte),
wired LAN, ADSL 2048/256 Kbps via broadband router (Linksys WRT54G),
Windows 98SE, DirectX 9.0b, FS2002, FSInn1B4V.129
All in all it was very nice, I never had been continuosly connected to VATSIM for such a long time (>10 h) [

] [

]
What's about the system resources? I had 90% before I started. After beeing connected and had all applications running (FS + FSInn, AVC, AIBridge and a Screenshooter) I had 19%, and when reaching Northern Ireland 18%. Launching ServInfo drops resources down to 5% [:0] , but it returns to 19/18% after closing SI. After finishing there are again 86% left, and that's normal for my system when I launched Netscape while running FS, as I did this time too. So it seems that are no relevant memory leaks! [

]
One problem I encountered: I lost the ILH VSI+TCAS gauge somewhere over the atlantic (No! I didn't drop it out of the window! [

] ), discovered this at my first step climb, making the approach a little bit difficult. The ILH transponder gauge works well as I was requested to change SQ by Manchester center. I believe that's a bug of the ILH gauges in case of poor system resources.
What I did not: "playing" to much with FSInn inflight. I never touched the settings, flightplan, plane and radar views. Chat window was always open, and the other ones only when I really needed them.
But all in all this longhaul succeded even on my poor system !!!
Maybe I will find the time to make some tries on system resource consumption in the next days...
