gerade erreichte mich eine wirklich traurige Nachricht:


Folks,

My good friend Piotr Nowicki (vateud5) was in contact with Robin's son in law, Jim. Jim informed him that our Director of Human Ressources, Robin Walker has passed away this morning at 4.10am from a heavy illness.

If i am informed right, Robin has been a co-founder of BAV and for the whole time member of the board. Robin was VATSIM-member since January 2002 and has staffed great number of different positions in VATSIM-UK, has been in the Membership-Department of VATSIM, and as far as i know, also DCRM. He was VATSIM-administrator and had a great influence in our community. A constant worker for our community.

I have had the privilege to work with Robin in some delicate cases of our VATSIM-world very closely. I have lost a very understanding and helpfull friend.

Robin: thank you so much for your great work in our community.


Robin Walker war einer der Mitbegründer vieler VATSIM-Bereiche, einer der entscheidenden Köpfe, die VATSIM-UK mitgestaltet haben. Nicht zuletzt war Robin Mitbegründer der British Airways Virtual.
